Untitled Meat Game
So this one may not get finished, because I have run into some pretty big hurdles in development which I'm not sure I can solve on my own.
Since this one was more of a pet project I'm not as bothered about abandoning it, but I still come back from time to time to try and iron out the problems.
Meat Game?
This is a story driven horror game set in a hellish landscape where you always running out of light, and monsters await you within the darkness.
It features combat with a slightly uniquely functional firearm, puzzles utilising a gravity gun/ item placement mechanic, challenging levels and an inventory system in which resource management plays a large role in the combat.
Mostly I wanted to create a visually unique and unsettling environment for the narrative to take place, and whilst not all of the assets are AAA high-poly affairs, I think I certainly managed to create the desired atmosphere.
This was made within Unreal Engine 4, and uses a mixture of textures and modified assets from the marketplace, or from other online sources that I purchased, as well as elements I made myself. Many of the already made assets I use are inteded as placeholder.
